Top 3 London Sunshine Hotspots

All eyes were on London last week as it hosted the Royal event of the decade. As the sun continues to shine here are my top 3 places to sit back, relax and enjoy it while it lasts (which knowing London probably wont be all that long). There is the added student bonus of picnic food, at minimal expense.

1. Primrose Hill, North London - nearest tube: Chalk Farm Road
One of the best views in London and a lively, buzzy area at any time of day or night, attracting a young and glamorous crowd. A charming neighborhood to browse round too and I recommend The Engineer Pub for a drink when the sun goes down.


2. Parsons Green, South West 

Although only a stones through from the King's Road, the park you stumble on as you wonder out the tube station is relaxed and casual. It has quite a family vibe and is recommended for those wanting some quiet reading space as they enjoy the sunshine (it is exam period lets not forget).

3. Kenwood - nearest tube: Hampstead or East Finchley

 Famous for its appearance in the classic Notting Hill Movie, this North London park has built a great reputation for itself. Immaculately kept and extremely vast its certain to be crowded on summer days, making for a great atmosphere. Best for a big group equipped with bats, balls and picnic blankets.
